Big reveal - I have anxiety. Most of us do to some extent, but for some of us, it is a constant companion. When you have anxiety, depression, or even stress, the world can get smaller and darker. That is why I came up with the first question.
Who or what made you smile today?
Today it was my little one Fiffy. I have two tiny little dogs. They are as different as a badger and a mouse. One is 10 lbs, and one is 11 lbs. One loves the snow, and one loves cuddles.
This little one is Fiffy Wyn. She is an Italian Greyhound mix; she loves cuddles, food, and talking.
Today I woke up from my afternoon nap (yes, I nap) to this little face sharing a pillow with me. I woke up smiling.

Day 2 - Music
"Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free," - Bob Dylan
Do you have a song that as soon as you hear it, you stop what you are doing, turn it up, and sing or dance or wind down a window because some songs need to be collaborative? For me, that song is "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister. I know that is weird and maybe a bit shocking, but I love it. Maybe it is because I grew up in small-town Ontario, maybe it is because I am a woman and I carry the anger that all women seem to carry. But that song is a time machine, an anger release, and a siren call to dance with one hand waving free. There is a freedom to that, a fun, a joy.
"We've got the right to choose, and
There ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be, just
Don't pick on our destiny, 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong"
-Twisted Sister
